Dover street station

Dover street station opened in 1906 and was the original name for Green Park station. The tour was on the grittier end of the Hidden London series of tours, featuring mostly walkways and larger tunnel shafts. The standout ‘view’ is probably when the large tunnel you’re in curves upwards to the surface. Alas I didn’t have a good angle for this so didn’t get any good photos.

A staircase descends a dimly lit tunnel. There are regular dim lights on one side and the stair treads are painted yellow.
